Since 2013, we have undergone a period of steady growth in terms of the projects we are currently undertaking, the team that we have established and the clients we are working with. In order to strengthen our team in Sydney to service the needs of a growing city and State we are looking for an intelligent and self-motivated traffic engineer/project manager primarily to help us deliver projects but also to assist with developing the Sydney office.

This is a unique opportunity which will only be offered to an exceptional candidate.

About You

You will hold a tertiary degree with qualifications in engineering, planning or a related field and have around 5-7 years’ experience in traffic engineering, ideally within the private sector. You will have skills in Sidra, AutoCAD/AutoTURN and Construction Traffic Management Planning. Strong written and verbal communication (English) skills are essential as well as the ability to work independently, but also as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and duties include the following:

  • Prepare development transport impact assessments/reports including intersection modelling using Sidra and Swept Path analysis
  • Prepare construction certificate and occupation certificate compliance documentation
  • Prepare or assist with the preparation of construction traffic management plans
  • Liaise with Developers, Architects, Town Planners, RMS and Local Councils
  • Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of fee proposals for traffic & transport projects
  • Mentor & train junior staff.
