PeopleTrans is a contemporary, specialist traffic & transport planning consultancy located at Wynyard Station in the heart of the Sydney CBD. We were established in 2013, are privately owned and have a strong philosophy of improving the quality of people’s lives through our Transport Planning & Engineering work. We take great pride in our work ensuring that we deliver outcomes which meet our clients’ needs the first time around. Since 2013 we have undergone a period of steady growth in terms of the projects we are currently undertaking, the team that we have established and the clients we are working with.
In order to take the Sydney business forward we are looking for a leader with a strong knowledge of the NSW/Sydney transport planning & engineering market to help us grow and shape the business with a view to becoming a direct equity holder.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business which has established a strong client base and has the necessary systems and processes in place. but is now looking for someone to assist in developing the business further and incorporating their own ideas and aspirations

About You

Are you passionate about Transport and looking to assist with shaping the future of Transport in Sydney? Are you looking for an opportunity within the Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning industry to start your career? Do you have the desire to learn about this industry whilst working on real projects? Are you self-motivated and willing to work within a small but experienced team? If this is you then we would like to hear from you!

To qualify for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
• Ideally 1 years’ experience within the Transport Industry (including internship placements)
• excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written format
• be able to provide a current reference
• be looking for long term career development
• be able to work independently and as part of a small team
• Ideally have a driver’s license

We are a privately-owned traffic and transport consultancy centrally located within the Sydney CBD close to public transport, and are looking to interview for one position to start in late 2018 or early 2019.
