PeopleTrans has recently joined the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) New South Wales (NSW) and we are happy to now be officially part of the leading industry body representing the NSW property development sector. Formed in 1963, UDIA NSW now represents "more than 500 members across the entire spectrum of the industry including developers, financiers, builders, suppliers, architects, contractors, engineers, consultants, academics and state and local government bodies".
The core objectives of the UDIA NSW are to:
- "Promote high standards for the urban development industry.
- Connect key industry leaders and organisations to foster growth through networks.
- Drive policy initiatives that contribute to a growing industry.
- Promote the principles of responsible development, better planning, efficient land utilisation and sustainability of resources for future generations.
- Foster a continuing education and research program to support the industry and benefit others associated with urban development.
- Promote greater understanding in the community on the role and achievements of the urban development industry".
We feel these values fit well with our core value of improving the quality of people’s lives through excellence in transport planning and engineering. PeopleTrans is currently working on a number of transport impact assessments for residential developments in Parramatta and PeopleTrans staff have extensive experience across a range of large and small developments for numerous land uses around Australia and overseas. Please get in contact with us for more information about our traffic engineering, transport planning and development capabilities.
